Moonshadow Villas Darwin Self Contained Accommodation

Moonshadow Villas private estate offers a variety of gorgeous, two level private garden and pool villas.  A celebrity escape with a "who’s who" guest list, Moonshadow offers cable television with a great variety of programmes, free wireless internet access, full cooking facilities and are perfectly equipped for every need.  All of our Darwin villas enjoy direct access to the sandstone waterfall pools and are gated if required.

Darwin Villa 1 – The Mimi Villa
Very tropical and with some stunning Aboriginal art, original oils by Denis Sharples, John Cartwright and Peter Buckley, a relative of Roy De Maistre, who does wonderful tropical scenes.
The furniture in this villa is incredibly comfortable in leather and coconut wood, serene and peaceful with two private courtyards it has a king bed overlooking the rainforest, dressing room and ensuite on the upper level and a choice of twin ensembles or king in the lower bedroom area which has an ensuite as well.

Darwin Villa 2 – The Frangipani Spa Villa
A romantic hideaway or the perfect place to bond over a cool drink in the private sandstone courtyard with its own sandstone spa.  Also with direct pool access, and an extra indoor outdoor Bali Rainwater shower and outdoor dining area, this villa has one king room, one queen room and a double fold-out bed so a larger group or family can be accommodated in style.

Darwin Villa 3 – The Orchid Villa
A special place with a subtle oriental theme. Huge king room with its own ensuite and coconut wood verandah accessed by fold-back tri-fold doors to bring beautiful breezes inside. The lower level offers a queen room and ensuite so really perfect for 2 couples to share. A large coconut wood verandah and a Garden Goddess Acrylic by noted Territory Artist Anet Martin screens a rainwater shower.

Darwin Villa 4 – The Rainforest Villa
This villa was featured in the article on The Top 20 holiday Homes in Australia by Vogue Entertaining and Travel. It has a safari theme and is elegantly standing on the edge of the rainforest surrounded by palms. It has a massive king room on the upper level with breezy stone ensuite and a gorgeous queen room and indoor outdoor Bali style bathroom on the lower level. Again a coconut verandah with Dutch antique teak and marble plantation table and two leather lazy boys to enjoy the ambiance

Darwin Villa 5 – The Birdsong Villa
Made famous by James Jeffrey in his review of Moonshadow and the antique Golden Lotus wedding cabinets this villa has a wonderful feeling. Huge king room with ensuite on the upper level and a lovely canopied queen bed on the lower, this villa is surrounded by exotic gingers, ferns and bird filled trees.
